    The Surface

    File a placement as a holding — surface, run dates, artwork, lease, and proof of run. Cleared placements are accessioned into the Museum. To lease a surface, start at Advertise.

    The standard

    • A placement is a holding. The surface, the run dates, the artwork, and the proof of run are one record.
    • Artwork is proofed before production. The proofed file is the file that ships to print.
    • Proof of run closes the placement — a dated photograph or display log, filed against the lease.
    • Lease amounts are recorded so the building's advertising income is auditable line by line.
    • Accessioned placements exhibit in The Surface. Rates, contacts, and contracts stay private.
