The Apprenticeship Playbook · Six daily blocks

From the brief to the receipt

    01 / Open

    Walk the room

    Studio or brand
Write the brief before posting: the intended result, deliverables, budget, dates, equipment, and rights required. Choose where to share it once the scope is ready.
    Creative partner
Check the scope against your skills and capacity. Identify missing information before quoting.
    Keep the record
A dated brief with a named decision-maker, budget range, deadline, and rights requirements.

This hub helps prepare the brief; it does not publish jobs or solicit bids.

    02 / Morning

    Clear the board

    Studio or brand
Browse creator-listed work and review relevant examples. Discuss availability, rates, revisions, and ownership before choosing a partner.
    Creative partner
Show relevant work and confirm the deliverables, schedule, fee, and payment terms in writing.
    Keep the record
An agreed scope and written terms accepted by both parties.

A creator shelf shows work, not verified availability. Browsing is not a match or a confirmed engagement.

    03 / Midday

    The work itself

    Studio or brand
Name the project owner and today’s deliverable. Confirm room access, schedule, and review points before the session.
    Creative partner
Run the agreed work, follow studio etiquette, and flag changes before adding time or cost.
    Keep the record
The confirmed schedule, session notes, and approved scope changes.

A studio booking request is not a confirmed session until accepted.

    04 / Afternoon

    Credit and seal

    Studio or brand
Review contributor credits, identifiers, rights, and clearance requirements before release.
    Creative partner
Name files consistently, complete the metadata audit, seal the deliverable, and retain its manifest.
    Keep the record
Credits, rights statement, identifiers, content hash, and an accession ticket.

A seal documents a file; it does not grant copyright or replace permissions.

    05 / Close

    Reset and log

    Studio or brand
Review the delivery against the brief. Record acceptance or specific revisions and confirm where the final assets are kept.
    Creative partner
Log hours and materials, document the handoff, verify backups, and reset the room for the next person.
    Keep the record
Acceptance, the revision log, asset locations, and the project ticket.

Keep the signal and receipt together: what was made, who made it, and what was accepted.

    06 / End of day

    Count

    Studio or brand
Check the invoice against agreed terms and accepted work. Pay through the agreed external method and retain the payment reference.
    Creative partner
Invoice promptly with the agreed amount, currency, due date, and payment instructions. Follow up on unpaid invoices and reconcile money received.
    Keep the record
Invoice, due date, expenses, payment reference, and a clear invoiced / unpaid / received status.

An invoice is not money received. This hub neither collects nor distributes payment; no checkout or payouts are enabled.

Online checkout is not available. Requests do not take payment or transfer rights.

Ask How the Money Works — Paid Consultation

The inventor builds from need: take a widget, document it, and make it earn. That method is the product, so the walkthrough is a paid consultation rather than a free explanation.

    • · Booked as a scheduled session and quoted before it starts.
    • · Covers how a documented widget is priced, sold, and recorded — not investment advice.
    • · The published revenue pages remain free to read; the working walkthrough is what carries the fee.
    • · No outcome, income, or return is promised.
